Exactly why @bsky.app is so important. Engaging on this platform is important. As is growing this platform.

Which one of these men joins Tom Anderson and MySoace in the annals of history first ?

Their greed is our opportunity.

commit_script.sh GitHub Gist: instantly share code, notes, and snippets.

One place where LLMs are useful: generating commit messages, given that:

1. You understand and can evaluate the message
2. The scoped code change is small
3. Your model is fast enough

Still playing around but this script+ prompt works fairly well out of the box:

Oh cool, I can see that method being useful. Might be worried a bit about lagging indicators and biased responses. Would you be able to use your own training data to build representations of your customer persona or just rely on readily available models?

Maybe, after establishing a relationship with the customer and asking if providing feedback in this manner would be something they are open to. I don’t think I’d like to cold open with an AI interview.

Re Phi-4, Where do I look to learn more about the differences in environmental impact of small models vs large?

Q for product leaders: Q1 planning period is coming to a close and PMs are feeling like some really great ideas are being shelved for higher priorities. How to support folks through the (sometimes painful) prioritization process?

Curious to hear from other #python learners? How far into your course were methods introduced? We’ve been using module based functions up til now. I feel like I’ve just unlocked a new level in the game. πŸ₯³

Consider also including the cost of being poor. The wet boots example is a good one. I have the same dilemma tbh looking for some good resources.

Hey, for anyone processing the Bluesky #firehose, here are a couple open-source libraries you might want to look at. They both give you a thing you can push "patterns" at and then feed JSON blobs and it tells you which patterns matched. Why is this interesting?

I’m thinking this applies to muscle soreness after starting a new workout routine, too? Any tips?

An experiment. Can you like this post if (and only if) you play and buy video games.

Some people over on Twitter/X seem to think it's only game developers here.

Bluesky is a great way to add comments to your blog or site. I've made a web component to make that easy to do.

Load the script, then use the <bluesky-comments> tag. Looks great by default, but is super-customisable with CSS vars and parts. Lazy loads, zero frameworks
