It’s wild, in so many industries, just how many people think that a rush last-second job on your end should mean a discount on their end.

My brain basically filters out a lot of headlines these days, but I keep having the thought:
Do bad selfish people have the soulless personalities required to get really famous and rich? Or does becoming really famous and rich bring out the dark side of a person?
A real “chicken or the egg” debate
Oh man, all good ideas, but those last three would all be especially fire.
Oh yeah, those could be epic!
Also the sheer number of mini-figs they could make would be overwhelming haha
I would definitely love a set based on one of the ships from Pikmin, like SS Dolphin.
I’d also be intrigued by what would likely be an out-of-my-budget Shadow of the Colossus Lego set.
Maybe…an Ace Attorney courthouse set with mini-figs of the various protagonists and antagonists? Would be fun 😆
What video game series would you like to see get official Lego sets someday?
Here are some of the series that already have sets:
Horizon (Zero Dawn)
Sonic
Mario
Zelda
Minecraft
Fortnite
Pokemon
Animal Crossing
In justice we trust!
Ok so it’s not just me haha
Donkey Kong island
Don’t worry, Donkey Kong fans…
There’s DLC for you
As somebody who actually lives in the United States, I would still consider Las Vegas to be another country haha
As somebody who remembers ai being a flexible tech term that could refer to any number of things (the code behind a complex computer program, predetermined NPC behavior in a game, etc.), I'm constantly annoyed that the term will now be associated exclusively with mass-generated turboplagaristic slop
Tell them it is in the same place as the Boston Marathon.
I should supposedly be getting a decent bonus soon, although they've been saying that for a few weeks so I don't when exactly that will be. Accounting is being weird about it.
But once I do, I want to get Pragmata.
Yeah, the announcement is just allowed to exist as is, and not as a comparison to preconceived hopes and expectations.
My son when I ask to carefully hand me a fragile object:
I'm curious if that rumored Star Fox revamp will be a random morning reveal or if they're saving that for a theoretical "not-E3" summer direct.
I know people have very strong feelings about the Nintendo Direct format, but count me in as a guy who prefers waking up to random one-off announcements to start my day.
Wait.
What.
You just hit me with the truth.
Here’s the other way around!
Mario Land cartridge + screen in the Gameboy and the Link’s Awakening cartridge on display. This is fun too.
That classic Zelda minimalist cartridge art gets me in the nostalgic feels.
Wrapped up Spirit of Justice.
What a finale!
An epic last case with bonkers twists, extremely dangerous stakes, emotional reveals, and satisfying character arcs.
I hope there’s more to come someday, because Capcom has something really special with this series.
But for now, I’m both happy and sad
Sorry to hear that. You’re a good mom.
I’ve come to strongly believe that there is a very low ceiling to how cool or emotional a piece of entertainment can be if they’re not willing to risk being a little cringey.
Embrace the cringe.
Apollo (What am I... supposed to do now?)
I think I might truly be in the final stretch of Spirit of Justice now.
It’s a bittersweet feeling.
I started this series in 2023 and this will be the 10th Ace Attorney game I’ve finished since then. Unless they rerelease the Layton crossover, there’s nothing left. It’s become a routine almost. 🥲
Nice! I finally just started the game haha. Like it so far
Perhaps the franchise single most deserving of jigsaw puzzles haha
Going out of my comfort zone and uploading an actual video of myself to speak an important truth about lighting and colors 😂
This may be a one-time experiment but we’ll see
I told somebody that I haven't bought Capcom's new game yet
and they said what's the pragMATA with you?
It’s a hard question for sure!
Easy to think of a top 5…
I feel like RE2 is easiest to recommend. RE4 is absolutely classic.
RE7 has such a perfectly executed vibe. RE8 is weird and memorable and emotional. RE9 is like a greatest hits of the whole series various strengths.
But just one? Hmmmm
Damn, this final case doesn't just have lots of twists and surprises in it, but it's giving me the feels now too.
