I should probably add: the reason theres a strange green border is that thats the buffer area i was going to use for the animation to be able to have things slightly moving in and out of view, but now its just... there.
I wasnt sure if i should remove it or not so 🤷‍♀️ its just there now

I think i either saved the project by copying all the layers to clipboard or i put all the layers individually in some form of other image editing software, and restarting krita after.
No idea why it happens tho.

My old pixel art piece from mid 2024. The biggest reason I got my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE was for doing pixel art on a screen tablet so I could better make it and learn more. And then I decided to make drawn art instead. But I've pixel art since I was a kid. Growing up with old NES, SNES, Gameboy, PS1, etc. games and seeing the gorgeous pixel art they had on offer, it really inspired me to get better at it. Literally the day before my ex left in 2022 to move in with her sister, my phone at the time broke and I wanted something new. I had been eyes an Motorola phone with a stylus, so I got it the next day. It wasn't the best for pixel art, but it was okay. Fast forward to 2 years later, I get the itch to have a bigger screen, so I got this tablet I use all the time. However, I was not happy with many of the pixel art apps on offer and since Android doesn't have access to Aseprite, I was kind of out of luck. Still, at the time, I was using Pixel Studio PRO and created this and a few other things, but this one was one of my favs. I drew Sylveon and Lilligant sharing a meal of berries that Lilligant picked herself. This version, however, is improved with new line shading to replace the solid black lines I had done before, fixed up a couple of the shadows here and there as well as some lines and added a few extra, smaller details. Please enjoy this piece of my early art journey history with some small edits and corrections!

This is the original piece, unaltered from when I first made it. There are some mistakes which I corrected in the new version and as you can see, I used hard black lines which is not very good for pixel art unless you're looking for a specific style.

OKAY! I know this could have been made better, but I'm still really happy with it. If you want to know more about it, check the alt! I do so love these mons. 🙂‍↕️
