It would be hypocritical of me to criticize for not mentioning your birthday much because you don't feel that important. That said, you deserve all the good things in life and there is no shame in wanting it. The people who care about you are happy to give you love and praise. You deserve all of it.

I want more than anything for you to have that. To be able to be as proud of yourself as I am of you, for you to feel the joy you bring others. I wish you didn't have to struggle so, but at least you don't have to struggle alone. And eventually, I know we'll find that sunshine once more. I promise.

I got Normal! Which is fitting, because like half of all of my favorites are Normal. I used to play Normal monotype teams all the time back in the day and gave several people Munchlax PTSD.

It doesn't even necessarily have to be that blatant, I just want to be able to sight-read the environment without fumbling around for half an hour. It shouldn't be that hard.

I trust Camelot to make any sport into an interesting video game. Especially when they can make wacky Wario/Waluigi cutscenes.

If Pixar counts, then The Incredibles. Otherwise, probably either Peter Pan or The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Captain Hook started me down the path to villainy, and Pooh Bear showed me what true wisdom looks like.

Oh, it's simple. These are people with incredibly short and narrow perspectives on the world. Everything that isn't themselves or like them needs to be changed or destroyed. They deride the spirit of American multiculturalism because it flies in the face of their comfy escape from the outside world.

That is another thing I appreciate about you, for the record. In spite of all you've been through, you still take it upon yourself to support others. No one could blame you if you became embittered by the world, but you choose to forge ahead because that's who you are. I admire you for that.

And that is, among many other things, something I quite like about you.

And you are right, our experiences are what make us who we are. The good and the bad both. Suffering can be hard to walk away from without becoming worse, but that's why I hold it so important to help others who suffer as well.
