Ontario buys used $28.9M private jet for Doug Ford: sources A senior official confirmed that the province this week took possession of a 2016 Bombardier Challenger 650 executive jet.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
Ford's Gravy Plane

Ford spent $28.9M taxpayer dollars to buy a jet for his private use.

Wondering why he wants jets at Billy Bishop Airport?

It'll cost at least another $1 billion tax dollars so Ford can land his jet in downtown Toronto.

Ford's $28.9 million dollar Gravy Plane won't put out Northern wildfires.

Every summer, aging water bombers are grounded in Northern Ontario—because we won’t pay pilots properly. Meanwhile, Ford buys a private jet for himself with tax dollars.

What are this government's priorities?

The Ford government's Bill 5 is being challenged at the Ontario Superior Court.

The Special Economic Zones Act (SEZA) was passed last spring as part of the controversial Bill 5, which also weakened the province’s ecological and archaeological protections, sparking protests across the province.

Today at Committee, we learned that the Council-approved Benton & Frederick St. Reconstruction project through Downtown Kitchener will no longer include bike lanes, because of the Province's Bill 60. The repaving will happen in a way to allow for future installation when allowed.

Transparency watchdog blasts ‘shocking’ Ontario plan to hide premier cellphone records | Globalnews.ca New policy will retroactively block the release of communications from the premier, ministers, parliamentary assistants or their staff through access to information requests.

“If records about gov't business can be shielded from scrutiny simply because they sit in a minister's office, public accountability is eviscerated.”

Ontario’s Privacy Comm. is warning about Ford’s plan to weaken access to information.

What is Ford trying to hide?

Democracy or dictatorship?

T̶r̶u̶m̶p̶, I mean Ford is:

▶️Applying Bill 5 so he can break any law at Billy Bishop Airport

Streetscaping: Design Segments
The Green Gateway, Innovation, and Performance/Retail
Segments can be enhanced by adding streetscaping features
such as street furniture, public art, and greenery, examples
below:
Green Gateway
By adding more trees create green
corridors that link existing park
spaces throughout the area. This
provides comfortable places for
people to gather and spend time
along this busy, high-density
roadway.
Innovation
Improved connections between
Yonge Street and TMU provide
opportunities for collaboration and
programming.
Performance / Retail
Yonge Street is strengthened as a
cultural hub, with flexible spaces
for public art and small

Concerning new documents out for YongeTOmorrow that seems much less focused on pedestrianization.

The project originally envisioned having portions of Yonge between College and Queen be at least partially pedestrianized.

“it's not a God-given right to take taxpayers’ money,” ...

Unless you are my family dentist, you get $2M;
or a friend who owns a strip club, i'll give you $10M;
or you hire my campaign manager as a lobbyist, you'll get $100M.

Eglinton Crosstown LRT to open Sunday with reduced service, muted celebrations: ‘It’s too soon for a party’ Mandeep Lali said the Eglinton Crosstown LRT will open Sunday at reduced speeds and hours of operation.

15 years, $7.7 billion over budget, and devastating closures to over 300 small businesses.

That is the history of this public-private partnership—otherwise known as a P3 project.

And the feds also did a deal with Palantir, via a homegrown proxy.

Building transit in Ontario works.

Thunder Bay workers will assemble Toronto’s new subway cars—with 55% Canadian content and billions invested right here.

This is what Canadian workers need amidst a shaky global economy: domestic projects, good union jobs, and local supply chains.

Get Ontario Building with Homes Ontario A bold plan to treat housing as essential infrastructure—and build a stronger, more affordable future for all.

To build housing, we need a government that:
▶️ builds not-for-profit housing
▶️ that leverages the value of public land to reduce costs
▶️ that partners with existing Co-ops to expand

▶️ MZO's to insiders

▶️ Attacking Conservation Authorities

Great for making Ford's friends rich, but doesn't build housing.
