Can I just say that if Reform get in, the idea of anyone being vetted for anything will not exist. And we'll all scream that they are criminals.. but no one will do a thing.

Pretty laid back and communal. Women outnumbered men by about 3:1 and in a pub that I walked into I think all the players were women.Something to do on a Tuesday night, I guess

Laws that are pretty much unenforceable are bad laws and your average corner shop owner won’t be challenging any 35 year olds when the time comes. However, do the shopkeepers get penalised? Imagine the brouhaha

It’s the ageism, isn’t it? Odd when we think it’s about older people but going into a shop and never being able to buy something that others can. “44 and I still can’t buy 20 Woodbines”

and accessing hardcore porn on X because it’s set at 13+. They’re children; this should have been sorted 15-20 years ago. What do children do at that age? They show it to their younger brothers and sisters. Because they’re children. Absolutely criminally neglectful

Interesting. I had a mate who sold his electric guitar and the mark up for the shop was 25%. That was about 15 years ago and, of course, the financial landscape has changed considerably. Good to know, ta.

If they can sell it for £80 (as long as the tuners are good and the neck isn’t warped) you should get £60

Just to let everyone know, for the nth time, I don’t want another Prime Minister after the last time we had four in a revolving door.

The world’s on fire and we need stability.
’10 to ‘24 was a disaster and you have amateurs in the Greens and swivel-eyed Loons in Reform. Things will get better.

🧵Spotted at a Country Market in Aotearoa New Zealand:

A small human (6?) is telling a friend in VERY grave tones: "My Dad isn't good at LEGO. I am. But he's not."
His friend (8?) says earnestly: "But you can teach him! He'll learn if you show him how!" (1)

Willing to be corrected, but the story doesn’t ring true. Battery capacity, distance and actuator (motors) wear and tear are against it. Something amiss about the whole thing

The ones I have arent baggy.
Decathlon and a tight fit on the legs, black and most necessarily very stretchy.
Anything else and I’d be going back 35 years, to a certain Hell

Generally should be avoided. Putting electronics into a closed space, which is what gives you the low voltage, shouldn’t be encouraged ( though it is) due to possible heat issues. Also if a high wattage item is plugged into the 3 pin socket (more heat), they then fail
