I love character writing because I find PEOPLE fascinating. How circumstances can lead people to walk different paths. How the same event can have different reactions. What can change one's views, beliefs, or nature. I wanna capture that in my work.

hi. yeah sorry to call you so early in the morning. just letting you know that you're going to die later today. yeah its a story about moral failings and reaping what you sow. we'll publish it in a fairy tale collection later. yeah your name will be changed to something like saint propheteer. sorry.

Panel 1 — Sunset Shimmer sits at the map table in Twilight's castle, holding up two burgers in sleeves which she pulled from her backpack. "Hey, I got some lunch before heading through the portal. Want any?" Panel 2 — Twilight Sparkle sits across from Sunset, now holding one of the burgers with her hooves. "Absolutely! Thanks Sunset! I didn't know they had hayburgers in the human world!" Panel 3 — Twilight takes an overly huge bite of the burger while Sunset blabs about something in the background, an icon of her face used to represent that she is the one speaking. Panel 4 — Twilight's eyes open wide, her pupils overly dilated. There's a stock explosion image behind her with a horse stock image behind that, colour-shifted to appear purple. Panel 5 — Twilight stares at the burger, her hair slightly frazzled, sweating, and her eyes still dilated. "Sunset. This is so good. What is in this."

Panel 6 — Sunset speaks idly at her seat, a hoof raised and looking up. "Oh yeah, that's the thing! See, instead of hay, they actually use cow meat which—", the words "cow meat" being coloured in red. Panel 7 — Same image as the last panel, but grayed out with a "realising what she said" expression on her face and a crack splitting the background. A "CRK" sound effect is in the corner, with a faded out image of a cow from the MLP: FIM episode "Applebuck Season" making a somewhat smug expression. She thinks, "Oh. Wait. Right. Sentience." Panel 8 — Twilight sits at her seat, wings folded politely. Ketchup and Mustard is sprayed over her face, hair, and neck, as well as the table, looking like a burger landmine was set off. She's blushing lightly and her eyelashes are cartoonishly long and curly. "Sorry Sunset what was that. I could not hear over delicious burger. Please do repeat Sunset Shimmer my good friend." Sunset sits in the foreground on the right, wearing a fake-smile and sweating bullets with her hooves clasped together. She's avoiding eye contact with Twilight.

I like to think Sunset occasionally forgets the very stark differences in animal sentience between the human and magic horse worlds
