Heya

Just thought Id take the time to write to you following the news of the appointment of Kezia Dugdale to Chair of Trustees & her interview gushing over arch bigot JK Rowling in the anti-trans rag The Guardian this weekend.

I've been to several of Stonewall run activities in the past which helped me early in my transition, and worked with a number of your previous trans staff under the brilliant Nancy Kelly in fighting the EHRC's bigotry & taking the fight to the United Nations.

Your capitulation to hate and far right appeasement has been evident for some time, accelerating with the appointment of Simon Blake, mate of trans child killer Wes Streeting, and a trend continuing with Kezia's appointment. Your track record over the last few years in appointing 'leaders' has been particularly poor (see the Iian Anderson debacle), and something you don't appear to have learned from.

Your trans trustees (Ayla Holdom & Jake Graf) should be utterly ashamed in selling out the trans community in this way - and you can tell them that they've utterly screwed their (and your) reputation with the trans community with this appointment. I've spoken to Ayla in the past myself, and if I'm honest - found her to be completely out of touch with the experiences most of us have to endure. Feel free to tell them that.

Suffice to say that because of this appointment and your lack of support for the trans community (going so far as to change your definition of transphobia in order to help justify pushing through trans conversion abuse compliant 'conversion therapy' so called conversion therapy ban), coupled with your faux Pride for anti-trans stooge and paedophile supporter Keir Starmer, I will no longer be supporting Stonewall in any capacity.

Figured Id do a parting shot at Stonewall before I deleted. 2 parts for ALT text as it was a bit long, and it was far politer than I originally intended.

if you want to contact them the email is : press.office@stonewall.org.uk

Enjoy.

Jesus christ those are just absolute ghouls.

And as a reminder, Dr Upton was found to have been a victim, having done nothing wrong and being harassed by a racist nurse.

Because solar panels work differently outside of UK than they do in the uk so that matters?

But I see you are firmly in personal insults realm, past even pretending that you got anything of value to add to why am I wrong, so I'll go and do something productive instead

1 hour ago 0 0 1 0

Yes, I am one of those filthy immigrants who exists outside of the UK at times. Shocking, I know.

Easier to just say "you are lying".

Because it disagrees with the propaganda piece article with reality of life that you have zero experience so cannot refute, but hate as it goes against the narrative?

To continue with education, portable solar panels are designed for simple use: flat surfaces.

There yes, you can just wheel them onto say a flat roof, or really big balcony, or back yard and plug them in. That indeed works, sans the cabling issues.

This is also not reality of cheap housing.

Again, you will not be hanging by yourself a solar panel of your window or balcony, it WILL fall and kill someone underneath.

And clearly unlike you I actually worked with portable solar panel, and no, you won't be just rolling them onto a juliet balcony, this will require rigging by a pro.

So amazing to hear, including about the sell-out ❤️

My book is out now!!

Jacob’s Transition Goals is a positive, hopeful story about an 8 year old transgender boy who loves football. In today’s political climate, trans joy is so needed - you should grab a copy!

You can buy Jacob’s Transition Goals in LGBTQ+ bookshops and online all over the world

They definitely are not designed to be just hanged from a window lol.

Nor do I think you appreciate the size of balcony needed or how few of the poor accommodations have any balcony at all.

Which is precisely why this omits any implementation details, so people can make shit like this up.

I laughed hard in middle of a meeting, thank you 🤣

HOW HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THIS GUY BEFORE, THIS IS TRULY INCREDIBLE

10 hours ago 48 4 5 0

Yeah, and people keep saying "you will just put it on your balcony!!"

What sort of 1 bed flat/studio/bedsit are you living in that has big enough balcony to just roll it over into?!

1 hour ago 1 0 1 0

I did, I also used similar units, have you?

I also lived in poverty, and I can assure you I did not have a balcony that would fit them without adequate secure rigging.

2 hours ago 0 0 0 0

Yeah, so many fucking times lol.

2 hours ago 0 0 0 0

Why not, they won't actually read any of those, but the point is to show clear and loud pushback, and maybe make people working there uncomfortable enough to quit

Ahaha, I dare not to compare myself to her, not even with my actual work of effort 😅

Haha no, sorry 😅

2 hours ago 1 0 0 0

This is not the unit discussed in the article, and this was professionally installed with wall rigging.

please actually read the article if you want to discuss it with other adults.

Oh I am 6ft tall big girl :P

Because that happens with heavy items just freely lugged somewhere, eventually they fall/fold/lock/close onto someone.

Context, I actually setup outdoor big foldable solar panels. This won't be much different and like all heavy things there are many ways to get injured by not being careful enough

Full-length mirror selfie of a woman with long, wavy ginger/auburn hair posing in a bedroom. They're smiling softly with a slight smirk, looking off to the side rather than directly at the camera. Their outfit consists of a red short-sleeved T-shirt with a white "Onwards" logo on the chest, a tan/camel-coloured belted skirt with cargo-style pockets and a D-ring belt, and black fishnet tights. They're holding up a smartphone in a clear case to take the photo, with bright green painted fingernails visible and a beaded bracelet on their wrist.
The bedroom has a cheerful, girly aesthetic: pale pink walls with a decorative wallpaper border of hearts, butterflies, bows, and dangling charm patterns in pink and purple tones. On the left is an unmade bed with a dark padded headboard and pink plaid checked bedding. Behind them, a window lets in bright daylight, and a white radiator sits beneath it. The floor is a beige carpet with various items scattered around — a plastic bag, what looks like a purple plush toy, some folded clothes, and a cardboard box in the lower right corner containing more items. The mirror itself has an ornate silver/pewter decorative frame visible along the right edge of the image.

Packing for the move is making me confront all the very debatable fashion choices I've made along the way 😅

I do not fit into most of it anymore as I reshaped a bit thanks to hormones, but lets bring up a sample.

This one ended with few million views on tiktok via video of my hair fit 😂

Mount them vertically how exactly? Please explain to me how does a lay person do that.

Or has a balcony to begin with when living in a tiny flat and/or house share?

This is deluded to reality of how poverty looks like this is supposed to help.

3 hours ago 2 0 1 0

T is OK for cis women but not trans men.

Puberty blockers are OK for cis kids but illegal for trans kids.

You see it, right? You see what this is?

4 hours ago 573 144 6 0

And notably most of the poorest actually will live in flats/house shares, a pretty much complete non-starter for this idea.

It's a concept designed by someone who'se concept of "poor" is owning their own but small home, with ample yard space and being forced into just one avocado per week.

How is telling the truth "heckling"?

3 hours ago 0 0 0 0

Those are big heavy things that need to be installed SOMEWHERE at angle where they absorb enough sun and in a secure way so it won't kill your cat/dog or a child.

Those are not toys you bring from home, place by the window and plug into the wall, you will need installation of sorts or a backyard
