It still doesn't work for me even after clearing cache but it does raise the suspicion I already had even further. Is it possible that there's a country-based publish setting and the correct version of the site is only available in Germany?

Had the issue both on Android and Linux, both using Vivaldi (Chromium derivative). This doesn't look like a client-side issue though.
