You know you’re healing when a sense of whimsy, play & lightheartedness starts to come back online, especially if you’ve experienced a long period without them.

Whimsy (& I mean true whimsy — not dissociated, disembodied fake whimsy) is truly one of the highest spiritual states.

So, if I caught you moving dirty on me even once, I will be keeping an eye on you for the rest of my life. I forgive but, I don’t ever forget.
Know that.

(And, that’s on being a double Cancer. 🦀)

Anyone repeatedly pushing your boundaries & testing your limits is sizing you up to see what they can get away with.

Narcopaths especially push boundaries; they possess an entitlement that tells them they’re above rules & are vengeful toward those who impose limitations on them.

A manipulative tactic people employ after you enforce boundaries is pretending to comply for a period of time.

During that time, they continue to study you & re-evaluate their strategy on how to push said boundary again.

Use discernment when people show you “changed behavior”.

Religious practice combined with mysticism & holistic, integrative healthcare are modern solutions to the phenomenon of ancestral gifts spontaneously coming online.

But, until society at large demystifies the spiritual, many gifts will continue to be damaged, dormant or erased. /5

When people’s spiritual gifts come online, ideally we should support their integration. But, given our societal spiritual disconnect, most don’t get that opportunity. Many belong to religions or cultures that tell them their gifts are wrong, they get medicated/misdiagnosed, etc. /4

Everyone has a flavor of psychic cognitive giftedness. Some are openly aware & have trained it, some are using gifts unknowingly, some gifts are dormant — & in some cases, untrained/unsupported gifts are what we call “symptoms” (hypersensitivity, synesthesia, hallucination, etc). /3

Erasure of the indigenous, the spread of the major religions that now predominate in our modern world, modernization, normalization of eurocolonial paradigms, etc. — overtime, all of these factors and then some have led to generations of disconnect from these spiritual talents. /2

Many of us possess bloodlines that come with spiritual gifts. This explains why most people have a tendency toward one or multiple “clair” senses (clairaudience, clairsentience, etc.), an ancestral talent for divination or other gifts related to heightened spiritual awareness. /1

I also highly recommend spending some time outside with Mother Earth, as always. 🧚

The book I’m holding is “Shamanism And Islam: Sufism, Healing Rituals and Spirits in the Muslim World”, edited by Thierry Zarcone & Angela Hobart. I highly recommend it as a read for anyone curious about shamanic rites in Islamic contexts.

My favorite activities: being barefoot, climbing trees, reading and soaking up the sun.

Unless of course, one is able to return to the original, ancestral roots of said spiritual lineage & be trained & initiated in accordance with the rules of “pure practice” — which is rare, but not impossible. /6

This is why many psychically gifted individuals end up pursuing mystic paths in Sufism, Buddhism, Advaita, etc. — though their gifts may ancestrally originate from a different spiritual lineage. /5

Similarly, if mystic & psychic abilities spontaneously arise outside of the spiritual lineage of its origin — one can call themselves a psychic or mystic, but one has to forge their own, new spiritual path, as informed by these gifts. /4

Shamanic ability developed outside the practices of a shamanic lineage is no longer a “pure practice”. To be respectful & ethical, it’s more appropriate to call oneself a mystic or be clear about one’s lack of affiliation with an indigenous shamanic lineage if choosing to use the title of shaman. /3

Ancestral gifts can spontaneously activate in any individual, no matter how many generations removed they are from that spiritual lineage, no matter how disenfranchised they are from their ancestral lands or tribe. The one caveat is, here it can’t be considered a “pure practice”. /2

When you are awakening to your psychic gifts, ancestral reclamation becomes a huge part of the journey. Doing a deep dive to figure out where these gifts came from — and how they were used in the generations that preceded you — are valuable clues that help you forge your spiritual path. /1

The fae are benevolent troublemakers.
Mischief-making for a divine cause.
And also, completely ungovernable.

The trickster way is the way of the fae. Fairy archetypes take you on a twisted, mind-splitting, psychological ride that won’t make sense till all is said & done. Many won’t even pass their brutal initiations, as they demand the etiquette & sensitivity that animals & plants know.

It’s gotten to the point where I feel more comfortable around people who are standoffish, wry & a bit rude. Atleast they’re not fronting.

And, actually some of them are — you’ll find some of the most bitter, cold people are very fuzzy & adorable inside once they give you access.

It’s time we stop equating being warm, friendly & “kind” right off the jump with being a moral person.

The most evil people I’ve ever met pretended to offer me kindness & nurturing only to turn around & do me dirty.

Something can look sweet & taste bitter. Exercise discernment.

Being conscious/intentional in all you do allows you to control what you attune to. If you’re functioning from an unconscious place, you give up that control. This is why many spiritual & religious systems emphasize staying in a state of Divine remembrance & daily prayer/ritual.

Everyone is attuned to various Spirit frequencies, because everything IS spiritual. You can begin to sense & develop discernment about which archetypes people are functioning from based on their behaviors, specific patterns of personality, their “vibe” & their spiritual practice.

“Spirits” are planes of consciousness we attune to (consciously & unconsciously) that bring forth an archetypal inspiration & allow us to step into a specific state of mind. Angels, ancestors, deities, gods/goddesses, djinn, etc. — these are all cultural terms for various planes.
