i think the big hurdle for a lot of artists making the move from twt to here is perceiving less likes as less human engagement. but actually the opposite is true: you're more likely to get human reception here than on [the corpse of] twitter, because the high amount of bots = artificial likes

No lie I feel like a ton of people come in with this mentality.

Maybe some will leave but lot of folks really don’t want to budge even when the horrors persist. Not saying that here is any better. The internet in general is just catering to this slop.
