Did you see the recent IVP Poll I posted? The results are quite different!

I'm not excited about any of the candidates, quite frankly. And pretty sure we'll end up with Wiener.

Anyone know how to stream Wednesday's debate for free?

For anyone who doesn't know the news I'm referring to:

Trying to appease instead of fighting the Trump admin seems to make organizations like the SPLC easier targets. After reading this account a few weeks ago, I'm not at all surprised to hear today's news. Truly a shame.

It would be a shame if he had an accident with that.

Yeah, I use DDG on my computer, but when it doesn't find what I'm looking for, I often have to go back to Google.

That definitely fits with the billboard picture. I've never heard of it, though!

But he probably spills his alcohol all over himself often enough to keep his hands clean-ish.

Britain left leaderless after Sir Keir Starmer does not resign as prime minister In a stunning turn of events, Sir Keir Starmer has left the nation leaderless after he failed to offer his resignation as prime minister.

Yesterday, Starmer was forced to defend his perfectly rational decision to hire the Prince of Darkness as ambassador to the US. Starmer had initially claimed ignorance, insisting he had no idea he was prime minister at the time of the appointment.

My parents and aunts/uncles all had horror stories about the corporal punishment at school. I'm old enough to have attended primary school when it was still legal. I've always thought nuns were evil as a result.

I grew up going to the Fairview Grand and Fairview Park, just across the street. My father attended St. Joseph's School, which is just steps away from where the cinema was. When I was a teen, I used to go to a dance there on Friday nights that always ended with Sinatra's "My Way." Memories....

Yeah, I was in Dublin in the 80s and I have no recollection of Twink having her own drink then (I do remember that TP ad though!). I just googled it to see if I could get any info on it, but I couldn't find a thing. If anyone remembers what that billboard was about, I'd love to know!

Yep, he's running for CA governor.

Boom! Never heard of this guy till @vox.com thought it would be cool to normalize white nationalism by platforming this POS on their podcast, Today, Explained. I much preferred your Christianity, Explained.

His "comeback" was pathetic.

Top two in the primary will face off in November, so if the two Rs get the most votes, CA will be guaranteed a R governor.

Plato turns in his grave.

22 hours ago 1 0 0 0

When Plato developed his "philosopher king" theory he definitely did not have broligarchs in mind. Philosopher kings don't want power, which is part of why they are so suited to rule. They also have a very specific education that makes them love the truth and knowledge. Our tech overlords ain't it.

This is not exactly something sucky, but more like the absence of something positive. I'm hearing some progressives express support for him, but what does he stand for that's progressive? As a CA voter, I'd like to know as I'm still undecided.
