Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

So glad to see someone so beautifully articulate what I think about almost every day….
No matter where you are in the journey, it only takes one yes, this week or any week. This has been the inspiration and the break I needed from everything else going on in the world. I’m cheering for all of you! Grateful to meet other writers & continue building a supportive #writingcommunity!!
Thanks to everyone at #revpit and especially the editors who are so generous with their time and attention to our work. We see you and we appreciate you! This is my third RevPit and they keep getting better!
What a lovely thread this is for all of us #revpitwaiting!
Continue revising my WIP and begin working on a novel in stories that I’ve been toying around with. When my fingers aren’t typing, I’ll be crossing them in the hopes that one of these 3 scripts gets published! :-)
Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano comes to mind immediately. And I just finished Night Swimmers by Roisin Maguire. Check ‘em out!
I agree with you! I also feel like if you have a good rationale for why the POVs are working for your story and why you made those choices, it’s at least worth discussing with a dev editor or agent or your beta readers. I do like that 3rd and 1st person mix in multiPOV novels sometimes!
I’m happy to hear that 3 first-person POVs might not be such a bonkers idea. As someone with this in their own MS, I’m still waffling on whether it’s too much for the reader, even if I try my best to keep their tones of voice very distinct.

Just because a President announces he’s agreed to a two week ceasefire moments before he threatened to commit war crimes, does not mean he is suddenly fit to serve. #25thAmendment
My fave of the year so far. Brave writing in this slim novel. If you like Claire Keegan or if you read Olive Kitteridge, you’ll enjoy this.
Regardless of whether it’s all talk, when the leader of our country expresses plainly genocidal intent, everyone has to do something.
For citizens of all political stripes, it means rejecting this madness. For Congress, it means taking action to rein him in. Now.
Just voted!
Dan Levy gives a master class in the first five minutes on the importance of knowing your characters deeply. And the rest of the interview is also fabulous for those of us who are #revpitwaiting #writingcommunity Check out this video, "cbs sunday morning dan levy" share.google/hLo5VKg3hnGY...
This is an actual post. This is not funny. This is beyond desperate. This is a deeply unwell man who doesn’t belong anywhere near the levers of power. Every member of his cabinet and Congress is complicit in not demanding his removal now.
This is how presidents act. Unlike the current crazy shitshow in office who ranted on Truth Social like the demented old man he is. 25th Amendment please.
I'm cringing with embarrassment that an American president wrote this. Absolutely cringing.

Sometimes I have to fight my dog for one of my favorite writing chairs. :-) Sometimes I write in bed like Flannery O’Connor did. Other times, I’m on the living room sofa. Fun fact: I draft a lot, but not all, by hand first and then transfer to my laptop. #amwriting #writingcommunity #RevPit2026
It’s one of the reasons we moved to Wisconsin in 2025. We could see what was happening in Albuquerque where the Rio Grande was a trickle more than a river.
I'm not trying to be pedantic here; the language matters. Children of immigrants are not some special, weird category of citizens; they owe their citizenship to the same thing that the vast majority of the rest of us do. That's the point!
This about sums up the three sisters in my novel. And there’s an ice storm in the inciting incident, so thanks to these penguins for setting that scene! :-)
I'm fortunate to exhange pages with two fabulous writers I met through the Women's Fiction Writers Association. We've been exchanging pages and encouraging each other every other week for three and a half years now. So grateful!
Thanks! Appreciate that!
