YEAH i get that. Her emotional regulation at this time in the story (and in general) isn’t great. Haurchefant was a good friend to her and she genuinely was devastated to see him die for her. She lost a friend when she was a teenager to suicide so like. that also compounded on things

Heavensward rue was a mess. Sorry. She does apologize to aymeric and tells him it wasn’t his fault. She genuinely does feel bad for what she said. She does grow as a person and learns to like. Not lash out at people as much but it takes time
He didn’t like weep for being yelled at he wept bc he felt she was right. It wasn’t like a loud sob and he just lowered his head and his voice broke. Estinien got pissed at her and she was like “none of this would have happened if you didn’t try to reason with a fucking psycho” (problematic wording)
Again she was wrong for what she said but i think lashing out at other people in grief is very realistic esp for sb with a lot of unresolved trauma

Rue as a character doesn’t have a similar personality to truman but her situation is, in some ways, similar. She (and the wol in general) have kind of had fate decided for them, long before their birth. The gods and ancients watch as a sort of grand performance plays out.

I understand that most of us
don't have the means to personally stop what's happening and there are many domestic victims of the US regime, but there's something very grim and galling about seeing Americans post "we must find moments of joy" every time our government murders children.
Please call before offices close. My reps were very nice and the call lasted only a couple minutes max. It’s the easiest thing you can do
