I found the story faced paced. The magic system was interesting, especially how they come into their powers. They seem to first manifest their powers when they hit puberty or when they lose their virginity.
Looking forward to reading more in this urban fantasy fairy tale retelling series.

Fin has two found families. A rag tag group of orphans he grew up with (Dontrell, Roisin, Rory, and Egan) who would do anything for him and his forest animal friends (Klaus, Sol, and Piglet) who he meets while in tiger form. Loved both of the found families especially Piglet.
3/5
Aisling is a princess and Fin is a street urchin but they are also Twin Flames (fated mates). Aisling is supposed to marry her father's evil advisor's son. Fin is cursed to live as a white tiger during the day and man at night.

🌟 Book Review for Curse of the Tiger Prince by Heather D. Grace 🌟
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The book is a mixture of fantasy and urban features which I enjoyed. There are handmaidens, magic, and castles but also cellphones, tv, and cars.

Loved finding out more about the different fae courts and about Noxryn's family. Ebony is so adorable.
Thank you Crowns & Chaos for the eARC. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Stella meets her fae family and oh boy does she go through alot. I wanted to scream and yell at them!
The slow burn romance between Stella and Noxryn was great! The tension, banter, and tenderness had me swooning.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Was captivated the whole book.
It gave me ACOTAR vibes. Noxryn reminded me of Rhysand. Misunderstood and only trying to do his best for his family/court.

Along the way Stella finds out the truth of who she is, events of the past, and becomes a stronger person.
Interested to see how the story develops in the next installment of the series.
3/3
Was thinking it was going to be a 3⭐️ until the last 150ish pages when things started being revealed.
Stella's home is attacked. She escapes with one of her guards, Cordis, and a handmaiden/friend, Oatha. They go through a journey fraught with danger, hardship, and torture.

There is alot of world building at the start of the book. It took a while before I got into the story and started caring about any of the characters.

There is a tragedy that happens in the later parts of the book that had me sobbing and broke my heart.
The book is a must read, in my opinion. I will definitely be reading the other books in the Cake series.
5/5
The characters are very well written. You either love them or hate them (thinking of you Michelle's parents). Michelle and Scott's family are so heartwarming and real. They aren't perfect. They do the best they can with what they have and are dealt. Loved Scott's positivity and humour.
4/5
Michelle is a hotel/oil heiress. Scott is a surf instructor, along with a couple of other jobs, just to make ends meet. They fall in love over a summer but her parents are dead set against them being together.
3/5
This is not your typical contemporary romance where the couple falls in love and lives happily ever after. This story is not all sunshine and rainbows. Michelle and Scott go through struggles, hardships, and tragedies.

Loved the pop culture themed chapter titles. There were definitely references in the book that brought me back to my childhood.

The relationship that slowly forms with Roxus is so sweet. He is her protector and father figure. It definitely gives found family vibes along with Declan and Delthene.
Will definitely be picking up the next book in the series!

While going through training and trials she endures harsh predjudice from fellow students and teachers. She struggles to make friends and trust anyone.
4/5
Violet is a viperi, a race that is feared and despised. She has gone through great hardship throughout her life especially after she and her mother were exiled when she was a young child. Roxus rescues her from prison, where she was to be executed, to become his apprentice in a secret society.
3/5
This book pulled me right in! I didn't want to put it down and finished it within 2 days. I was rooting for Violet the whole time. I wanted her to make friends, learn to trust, and get a glimpse of happiness in her tragic life.

She meets up with an old friend and boyfriend along the way and things might not be as she thought they were.
There is very little romance, a bit of politics, and a lot of whimsy.
Was a fun read and I plan to pick up a hard copy when it releases.

She goes back to the faerie realm to correct a mistake she made handling a delicate bargain.
Seeing how Poppy navigates the faerie realm where everything is dealt with in bargains and oaths was fascinating.
3/4
Poppy is a "returnee" that was kidnapped by faeries as a child and lived 100 years in the faerie realm as a cook. When she was returned to the human world she worked for a company that handles faerie bargains as she adjusts to living in the human world again.

The premise of turning faerie bargains into a business run by corporations was awesome!

It ends on a cliffhanger, I have lots of unanswered questions, and need to find out more in the next book.
5/5
I think Hercules portrayed as a villain is done well. He definitely must die or at the very least not gain immortality.
If you enjoy Greek mythology, trials, and a fun, low brain power read, this is the book for you.
4/5
The banter between Lyssa and Alexios was great. Made me smile and giggle. Seems to be setting up some romance between them in the future.
The side characters on Lyssa's ship definitely give found family vibes. They are a diversified group of creatures and personalities.
3/5
This is a good, fast paced start to the series. There are multiple POVs so you can see what is happening with each of the trial participants.
Loved the Greek mythology aspects of the story. The creatures and meddling gods.
