how about this: what do you believe in this article justifies the conclusion implied by the title?

i'm asking you a question, answer it; give an example of something in this article that you believe "finds" something
what makes you think that this article here "finds" anything? that implies an analysis with a correct conclusion
they did not find this; if you were to read the underlying research and compare it to what's being discussed here, you would know that
as an algebraic topologist of exactly the same generation as you (grandchild of May), I’m truly sorry that you had that experience; I had no idea this guy was in politics, either
Billionaires Attack Rent Control GrowSF, a group funded by billionaires yet claiming to speak for the working class, released an attack ad on Monday targeting the four Supervisors who voted against the Mayor's Family Zoning Plan. As written, this plan threatens to demolish existing rent-controlled units, while failing to invest in the deeply affordable housing we need. SF Standard headline: Moderate political group attacks supervisors who voted against Lurie’s upzoning plan
Tireless organizing by tenants, supported by DSA SF and Supervisor Jackie Fielder, succeeded in exempting many rent controlled units - but the Mayor's plan still leaves up to 20,000 units vulnerable to demolition, placing a target on the backs of working families. Headline: Board of Supervisors Strikes Down Rent-Control Amendment
We commend DSA SF member Supervisor Jackie Fielder and her colleagues - Supervisors Chan, Chen, and Walton - for voting against this proposal, and we urge the Board to put forward a plan that centers housing for working families, not profits for real estate developers. DSA SF and our allies will continue to fight against the displacement of tenants, and for real solutions to the affordability crisis like social housing, which San Franciscans voted for in 2020’s Prop I and which Mayor Lurie and his wealthy backers continue to ignore.
San Franciscans deserve housing security, not displacement. The Mayor’s Family Zoning Plan still leaves more than 20,000 rent-controlled homes vulnerable to demolition. Thank you to Supervisors Fielder, Chan, Chen, and Walton for standing with tenants and working families.
idk what you're talking about, it mentions "permanently affordable housing", and descriptions of its intent are all throughout the voters guide arguments sfelections.sfgov.org/sites/defaul...
you also might remember that prop k was passed in conjunction of this, which was the necessary authorization for the social housing prop i was meant to fund
we actually *couldn't* have done this for a transfer tax, because it's illegal; instead, the board passed a unanimous resolution laying out the intent, the voters guide contained information about what it's for, and the campaign ran on this messaging, also made the HSFOB which the mayor ignored
i mean, yes, i do also want that, but maybe don't tell me what i want when i'm actually being very clear about the need to diminish the power of the SF executive branch via charter reform
here's the part where you apologize for being ignorant of the law and implying some sort of dishonesty right max??
either you're feigning ignorance or are actually ignorant, neither is a particularly good look
yeah this is a legal requirement, because our charter is really stupid and state law is really stupid; the board passed a unanimous resolution stating the intent of the funding and the campaign messaging was explicitly about that - do not be disingenuous, it was entirely breed that did this
yeah, i agree, we need charter reform so it's possible to more easily prohibit the mayor from unilaterally deciding to ignore the will of voters
checking in with julia after not using it for a few years, looks like the language ecosystem is in a very nice state; i also particularly like the cheeky fact of the vectorization notation `f.` being a pushforward

America is not any of these other places, bad logic
it’s an admittedly very lame and obvious turn of phrase, you doofus
choose your fighter: liberalism [fascism] or socialism @deanpreston.bsky.social
no robot, either through action or inaction, may use a point of inquiry to argue during a debate
for which of the two mutually exclusive things: dinner or a show?
yeah leave goofy alone
well you see, Neo is a character from a film called "The Matrix" (1999), and balls are testicles (??)
Thank god we got rid of @deanpreston.bsky.social, Parcel K can finally be used for its highest and best purpose: a showroom for one Rivian truck.
Nothing to do with what I'm saying.
