"Well did you know your eyes have different kinds of" ... (pause for a second while I wonder how to explain cells in 3.5 year old) ...

"Grandpa, I think my eyes adjusted"

"Uh, yes"

Yeah sorry the wisdom of the crowd has nothing for you @lordhosk.bsky.social - as you noted it's just an unfortunate trend. I misread it as bad luck and maybe knowing the right place to ask could help but appears not

How did your bike enrich your life, fix your finances, or change your family's daily routine?

โ€‹A Stanford study showed stories are 22x more memorable than facts. If we want to get people out of cars, throwing emissions stats at them won't cut it.

Humans need stories. Tell me yours. ๐Ÿ‘‡

This is going directly into my facebook messenger group chat of mostly memes but also hilarious posts about current events that have existed since the early days of needing humour as a coping mechanism for the pandemic (and then everything since)

Words I write in my journal "serve functions similar to human emotions" for me, when I read them. This in no way means that paper or the journal as a whole "has" emotions. One hint as to why relates to the fact that it physiologically has no mechanism to experience anything.
