Indies are producing the most unique, interesting work out there not because they aren't trying to make money, but because they (we) have nothing to lose. However, how many times they can take that chance is dependent on money. We're churning innovation, and there are a lot of dead ends.

I love character writing because I find PEOPLE fascinating. How circumstances can lead people to walk different paths. How the same event can have different reactions. What can change one's views, beliefs, or nature. I wanna capture that in my work.

Anyway I designed this character with a big ass,

digital drawing of SEVEN characters from resident evil franchise framed as a photograph, with the addition of a sticker note on it. the composition might be simply described as leon s kennedy and chris redfield surrounded by five blonde girls they saved throughout the franchise. there’s grace ashcroft and emily (who leon is holding in his right arm), and they’re looking at each other happily. emily is wearing yellow overalls with stars because she’s a little star of hope. there’s sherry birkin with her head on leon’s left shoulder, eyes closed. her left hand with visible scars from the virus is on grace’s shoulder, which carries its own scar from the bite. chris is holding rosemary winters in his left arm, and she’s the only one looking at the camera (main character energy). she’s dressed in a jacket that is vaguely reminiscent of ethan’s, but this one has chris’ team logo on the back. then there’s ashley graham on the right of leon, giving him bunny ears. the sticky note says “you can’t save anyone”, but “t” in can’t is scratched out and “any” in anyone is fixed with “every”. it also says “or at least try your best!!”. all fixes are made with pink pen that ashley is carrying in the front pocket of her jacket. little less to say about chris and leon except for the fact that they look happy and content and old. old men yaoi and found family trope at its best. how obvious is that i don’t have a father? be honest

It's hard to guess how much I have left to do, I'd estimate I'm around 3/5 - 3/4 done.
Being able to read the captions as I skim through the timeline is going to speed me up soooo much, I'm in the final stretch!

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.
