Three different in a way v mundane things. Possibly has turned into notes for a new album tho - specifically "Portrait - Trickster." I can feel them as song titles w a certain kind of mood. Funny to repeat Trickster maybe as a totally unrelated, new song to the one I've already done

Obviously Pops Leo had a spiritual 🔥 lit under his a*s as a young person & has grown into it. Early photos the guy looked like he was about to take off for another planet. I get it. I've been there. Don't care for the Church now but v much care about spiritual 🔥

It comes down to: We've got enough real community to grow from to communicate w each other. No good need for bots. All they
do is rupture the alignment of real communication. We can really talk to each other very easily now. We don't need fake people to be involved to share enthusiasm for art/music

Y'all THIS is more important than anything else I wrote about in the last few weeks. Both the book itself and the idea expressed here. But it's also kinda about the same thing coming from the other direction

This stuff's crazy. I've never had my music marketed. It's not a requirement. It's something you have to seek out & agree to/be sought out for & agree to. No not every musician is using these kinds of campaigns. Not at all. There's still 'undergrounds' of people making music in real honest community

I care and know a few more people who do - usually we're other people who write lyrics lol

Made that choice too and there _are_ consequences. Less $. Less activity at others' request. Yet it still feels like the right choice. And the requests I do get are meaningful. And _making music_ is the most meaningful of all, except helping people directly
