Took Cabbage to the Muttart in #yeg for their new feature pyramid Imagination. She loved looking at all of the little fairy houses, and the fishes in the pond. Thinking we might be able to sneak in some fairytales into our reading soon.

Its particularly exciting if we can find any duel language books in English and Anishinaabemowin. My husband took a language class earlier this year to help him learn since no one in his family currently speaks it. He loves being able to read to our little girl in his lost tongue.
My husband is Ojibwe and we live in Alberta so the vast majority of indigenous resources and books we can access locally tend to be in Cree. Makes sense, its their land 😅
So any time we run into Ojibwe authors in the wild we get super excited.

Our Book Outlet order had perfect timing and arrived while I was home with the saddest little teething girl.
Made me laugh because 2/4 books we ordered for her were comically oversized. My bad for not checking dimension.

How do you normally put together your #reviews and ratings?
I generally don't provide a star rating to kids picture and board books. It feels weird since it feel so subjective for a book under 50 pages.
