The best advice I can give is just keep painting. Here's 2 models I painted, my first painted in 1996 and one painted last year. I started painting again in 2016 and try to sit at my desk at least 3 times a week.

I either paint 100 models in a month or 1, there is no middle ground (and it's usually just 1). Anytime you get to paint is a good time.

Lass year for a painting competition, I created the termaGIANT, a hulking mass of the Hive Mind's want for destruction. It's also the most effort I've put into a lowly gant, but it is technically massive, haha.
