This expedition would be a LOT more entertaining if my Colossus didn't keep half disappearing into the ground, spinning around like it's caught in a whirlpool, and losing literally ALL of its cargo (and I mean vanished, not just spilled). Please fix the game, this really isn't a me thing.

OH MY GOD
Gary 7 from the TV show Star Trek.
Only slightly kidding IYKYK.
I had a little chortle today at the number of names I see ported over from xitter that are variations on "the real $name" in response to the farce that ensued shortly after that platform was absorbed by Elon the Hutt.
The Jorune background was quite unique and went surprisingly deep (eg. you could tell a creature's origin by counting limbs and eyes!) the rules weren't the best but they were good enough to make the game thoroughly enjoyable. Of course the artwork by Miles Teeves (I think) was second to none.
I have fond memories of many of the games on this list, especially Skyrealms of Jorune which remains one of my all time favourite TTRPGs.
Wes Streeting, the health secretary, told LBC: "We're different political traditions, but I think we've all been struck by the pace at which President Trump's new administration has come in and made a whole bunch of changes to the way that Washington and the way that government works. "We might look at some of those changes and think, well, they're not quite the changes we would make, from a centre-left perspective, but the speed at which they've operated, we've actually thought, you know what, we can go further and faster. We will, we are. That's what the prime minister's doing."
Ugh. I can’t tell you how much I dislike this. To witness such cruelty, incompetence, contempt for the law and think ‘let’s have some of that’… www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Welcome!
I cannot emphasise enough how much I do NOT want US citizenship.

Another one in Putin's back pocket.
The mind boggles at the stupidity but also the blind hatred for anything not cis, white, male, and straight.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.
This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.
Me me me!
"Can ethnic minorities be English?" is a good question and the answer is "Fuck the fuck off you racist fuck."
Dear Volodymyr Zelenskyy, dear Ukrainian friends, you are not alone.
I have a horrible feeling this all ends with Putin sitting in the Oval Office with his feet on the desk as he releases the “Piss Tape” on X with a one word caption:
“Suckers”
Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:
-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.
-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.

Less than 1% of NPR’s budget comes from the federal govt.
Not my agency!
I have just tested this, it works!
A conversation on Reddit. The OP says: ”Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes ... Families are torn apart: men, women and children are separated. Children come home from school to find their parents have disappeared.” A smoothbrain dipshit replies "Yes. It's a consequence of uncontrolled borders. It's to be expected. Grow a backbone; it's what we voted for." OP replies that they quoted the diary of Anne Frank, and asks "Now what does that say about you and your party that you could not tell the difference?"
Fuck these fascists.

Cannot stop thinking about how Octavia Butler wrote a book in 1993 about climate change. It opens with deadly fires in LA in 2025. In the story, a fascist President has just won office with the campaign slogan "Make America Great Again."
She was a modern day Nostradamus. If only we'd listened.
Yeah, that's very disappointing.
I did.
Supreme court refuses Trump's request to block Friday's criminal sentencing.
Excellent, if surprising, news.
