Been attending since 2001. Farewell Ebertfest. Glad we got this two-day send-off.

As part of my fitness journey, I’m riding in Pelotonia this year to raise money for cancer research. Pelotonia directs 100% of every dollar raised by its participants to innovative cancer research at the OSUCCC-James.

I haven’t seen enough to know if it will last, but so far the Reds TV games being produced by MLB are an improvement vs. Fox Sports Net and then Bally Sports/Fan Duel. Technically cleaner and far fewer promo reads/gambling tie-ins.
I have progressive lenses and can’t say it has any affect. (Granted, my vision was also reversed from nearsighted to farsighted with what I also had to have done.)
I realize coaches want to micromanage especially at the end of games, but from a viewing experience, I would be happy to have the number of timeouts available to coaches be reduced. Let it play out.

Of the seven films I have seen so far at True/False, PHENOMENA is the best. A real visual dazzler paired well with music. Something worth seeing big with a great sound system.

Show PLATOON and then pick up THE NAKED GUN when they are leaving the theater.
As I recall, we watched this at your place in Madison, perhaps based on it winning an MTV movie award. That may have also been the same visit when we watched the Brooke Shields pinball movie TILT.
Gonna have to go listen to this now.
35-10 Seahawks. I don’t think this game will be competitive.
HD cameras have made the definition of a catch highly debatable.
Fantastic game but hate to see it come down to pass interference penalties and a questionable (to my eyes) interception call.
“These chicken strips…are to die for!”
Part of me wonders if it is just a way of flexing how wealthy they are (“look at how much I can spend on something ugly”).
I saw three of the HK films in theaters but figured they’re be available/wouldn’t have to be purchased immediately. Good to know.
Sigh. I didn’t realize the Shout disks were all limited. I don’t keep up as closely as I once did. Is that more the route these companies are taking?
If you doubted if there is demand for the new AVATAR, I just checked the IMAX screen here, and every listed screening through January 14, the last date with posted times, shows as sold out.
New idea for the NFL: throwback fields, like when you have a baseball diamond across a big stretch of the gridiron.
Did Cattet and Forzani take that picture?!
I always took Guided by Voices’ “Shocker in Gloomtown” to be directly dissing PS Dump Your Boyfriend.
Every time I hear the Indiana University quarterback mentioned.
