I know there's a designated 'hourly comics day' but I like just doing them whenever I feel like it, kinda like a journal that's potentially entertaining to others.
Got one bone and one flame started! Waiting to get the blue paint.
Debating on if I want to do all of Sans. I'll definitely need more paint.
All the front flames have been lined in white glow! Three layers.
The back bones are gonna have some glow blue and some glow white, but it will take some time.
I'm unsure on if I want to do the blasters themselves.

I really don't know what put The Void on my radar but it draws me in and has me in a strange snare and I love it. It's not a good game, it's not balanced, it's not 'fun'. But FUCK I can't stop having it there.

Finished reading The Word For World Is Forest, and yeah I can see how that's a pretty solid foundational piece. It's not terribly long. Like Seven Samurai, gives a nice little framework for a good story.
That's more of what I was getting at. It can happen at any time. In those moments, when we're there, it feels awful. Years later, it's something we can look back on and go 'wow that part sucked' but still survive and come through.
I hope this whole Mr.Puzzles debacle is another moment like that.
I really should go through and like, appreciate all the stuff that's given me inspiration over the years. Lots of artists and games and comics and movies. Having a wide bredth of inspiration really does give rise to more thorough, intentional design
Human experience is tough, and I never want someone to feel that awful loneliness and feel like it's the end. It's scary, it sucks, but we're not alone.
It's mostly something from Mod's experience, not mine! Negativity sown once, especially on something you love deeply, hurts for a long time. I've been in something a bit like that. I empathize with the "I'm proud of this thing, but it's tainted by actions around it."
