Strangely, I feel more confident we’ll win the league now than I did before kick off

Weirdly if we were gonna lose, this type of loss was the best one. Gives us significant hope that we can win our games with City have the tougher run in
Injuries definitely play a part as you said but Arteta has always been a, “you got yourselves into this mess so you can get yourselves out” kind of manger.
5mins and we’re 2 mins into it
Barcelona are not a serious football team
We’re all looking at the remaining PL games to see where the league could be won/lost but could it be decided in another competition? If we win the League Cup it imbues this team with confidence and deflates City. If we win the league cup, do we in essence also win the league? #arsecastextra
It’s really hard to get an away result in Europe especially at this point of the season. We got lucky with the PSV draw last season but generally all teams at this stage of the CL are of a high standard and the games are tough
The last couple of episodes of View from The Lane, the Athletic Spurs pod, have been glorious
@arsenalvisionpodcast.com think you’ll enjoy this. This is what Jack Pitt-Brooke (who is a good journalist and this is not a dig at him) said about Kinsky when he made his spurs debut in January 2025
Was just listening to preview pod you did with Elliot where he was trying to make a case for Spurs and he asked you if he was overstating their chances and you just said “YES” which was hilarious but the game itself is even funnier
I think this goes into overdrive when a team closes in on the league title, especially a team who people care about i.e not City. It's copium for other fan bases. It happened when Liverpool closed in on the title last season. For them it was the weakness of the league and for us it's style of play
Morning guys. How concerned are you about Matinelli's form? He usually blows hot and cold but his last 2 performances have been awful and way below his normal standards. Is it time to use Madueke on the left again and Dowman as cover for Saka? #arsecastextra
Very much so. Hope you’re on the mend soon!
An absolute all-timer. Thank you gents
I cannot thank @tim-stillman.bsky.social enough for mentioning the Athletic Spurs pod a couple of weeks back. The last few episodes have been sensational listening. And the same for @gunnerblog.bsky.social mentioning we are Tottenham tv. First time I have ever consumed Spurs content & I am feasting
Haha this is true but was wondering if it was an Arsenal specific thing or if he's a dickhead in general
I think some Arsenal fans do have some gripes with our style of play but this media narrative is having the effect of bringing us all together on this topic which could actually be really beneficial during the run in.
He does seem to have a very antagonistic tone towards us and I'm not sure where it comes from. In fairness I don't listen to him every week so maybe he's passive aggressive towards every club but it does seem odd
Could also really help with the title race given the difficulty of City's fixtures compared to ours in the CL. Taking nothing for granted of course....
I generally only listen to Arsenal specific podcasts these days plus second captains but after a big win I like to dip into other general football ones to see what they say and I’m nearly 15mins into the totally football show and they haven’t got past talking the push on Gabriel 🗑️
Everyone keeps saying there will be ups and down in the title race but as soon as there is a down people lose their minds
People keep saying that the title race is a roller coaster but everyone panics when we hit the down slope
I just don't understand why the club and manager didn't address this appropriately at the time. Drop him from the squad and say that we're committed to helping and protecting women but we can't comment on anything specific for legal reasons. Or you know, just cancel his contract and bin him
Who would we pick to appoint so they get the opposite of a new manager bounce? New manager splat? Sherwood, Mason, Allardyce, Pascal Chimbonda?
City clinging on tooth and nail just keep the gap at 6 points. We got this
Can not recommend highly enough regardless of whether or not you have read any of Adam’s excellent books @amateuradam.bsky.social
This is so good. As Andrew says, everyone has their own coping mechanism or lens to see us through. Personally, I remember the apathy under late Wenger, then Emery and early Arteta when we just didn’t matter but now we do. People care and I’ll always take being in the mix to win things than not
Football is a game of opinions! Haha Think he’s ok but comes across a little nervous
I think he comes across quite nervous, especially if he’s on a panel with some big names
