How do gendered beliefs impact reactions to terrorism?
Masculine honor ideology and Neosexism are correlated with support for torture of suspected terrorists, but provoke differing emotional responses.

Happy to share my latest article is out that helps us understand this in a specific context: intl legal petitions in the UN. How do courageous individuals overcome barriers?

So sorry to hear this! Such a loss for research!
A huge loss not just for research, but also for the police and citizens worldwide who will lose out on the training, knowledge, and decreased violence this research focuses on.
It's hard to find the words. NSF just terminated the grant for Journeys, a mentoring workshop that tried to tackle underrepresentation of women in international relations. Future scholarship will be the worse for it. But this photo from our last gathering will motivate me to keep fighting.
Excited to share that this paper is now forthcoming at the Journal of Politics. It has been a looooooong journey (5 years in the making)! Too many people to thank but most importantly my advisors, three anonymous reviewers and the people of Bihar - forever indebted to their generosity. #gendersky
