Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!
Life is short.
Don't drink shitty coffee.
No, this isn't a coffee ad, I'm not advocating any specific coffee brand. Just stay clear of the shitty stuff.
My friend @ghowley.bsky.social shared this with me. Have you seen/heard this?
A history of the Martian Revolution of 2247, which is the 12th season of a podcast about actual historical revolutions.

This is ridiculous.
Wait wait wait. You didn't say favorite former coworker. You said former favorite.
This feels like a bad horror movie sequel
What.... The fuck. .... What the fuck.
Hahahahahaha what the fuck. What? The? Fuck?
When I was young I watched the adaption of H.G.Wells Time Machine, and was terrified of the Morlocks. At the end, when the main character chose to return to the dystopian future, the idea of a return to that familiar nightmare filled me with dread.
This is the same dread I'm feeling post election.
Personally, I need the distraction

You are the worst, Burr
Screw you, Wordle
Watching Sandman on Netflix, and as soon as Unity Kincaid said "Rose, darling", all I could think of was the Steely Dan song "Rose Darling"
Listening to a Weird Al concert on YouTube while I work. Despite having not heard the song in probably 35 years, I was able to identify "You Make Me" in less than two seconds, and I somehow still remember ALL the lyrics. @alyankovic.bsky.social is amazing.

I hadn't realized what an impact Sniglets had made upon my life until I randomly recall words like "rovalert", "flugelbinder", or "hozone", which I probably should have forgotten, but which remain in my brain 40 years later.
"House of 1000 Corpses" definitely sounds like the home of a necromonger, since, you know, you keep what you kill.
I play Slay the Spire on my phone daily. Great game.
It's a reflex mini game, trying not to blow right by that great roll as you click click clickclickclick...
I was today years old when I realized... the 1994 film Forrest Gump made prodigious use of what today we would call Deepfakes.
"Pence: I am here to recite scripture and keep referring to the Trump-Pence administration, and I’m all out of scripture!"
They should re-air all political debates with pop-up video style fact-checking.
"haha, cute joke"
"...holy shit is is."
"...I must tell everyone. THE WORLD DESERVES TO KNOW."
If you're a korok in Tears of the Kingdom, I just want you to know that when I pick up a rock and discover you beneath it, I will *always* drop that rock on your head after I'm done.
(Silent nod)
Huge fan of The Tick here.
I don't get it.
I hate the number of streaming services that regularly log me out and refuse to take the correct password, requiring a reset. This cracking down on password-sharing just ends up meaning that it's a huge pain for me to use services I pay for. Maybe I should just start pirating stuff - it'd be easier.

It’s crazy that Gardasil is an HPV vaccine and not an LOTR sword
