Forgot to mention quantities:
250 grams peas
50 grams bacon bits
2 medium sized onions
2 cloves of garlic

Ned you should ask Indy if she's willing to translate for you. I think you can agree on a price, maybe a steak and a roasted potato.

They are tortitas (sort of pancakes) made with peas and bacon. Served with yogurt that has some chili flakes on it.

6. In a big bowl beat an egg (w/salt and pepper), add 3 tbs of flour, I used buckwheat, 3 tbs Grana Padano, and some milk (enough to make the batter less dense, like pancake batter.
7. Add the onion and pea mixture. Mix well.
8. Use a spoon to ladle the batter onto a nonstick pan at medium heat.

4. Cover and cook for a few minutes (til they are crispy garlic is tender).
5. Add peas, and less than half a cup of water. Cover and let the peas cook.

1. Cook little bits of bacon until they are crispy. Remove from pan.
2. Add olive oil to the same pan, sauté 2 medium size onions (chopped finely) add a bit of salt and cover so they sweat for a few minutes. Cook until caramelized.
3. Uncover and add two chopped garlic cloves.
