I’ll leave that to the prosecutors once the DOJ is reformed to its original mission of catching criminals instead of covering up their crimes. They’ll have dozens of crimes to choose from, from banal white collar crimes like insider trading, to full on treason for his dealings with Putin.

I’m 100% in favor or law enforcement arresting criminals of all kinds, after getting a warrant from a judge, and treating them with respect and dignity and providing them with due process and a chance to defend their innocence. Innocent until proven guilty.

But yeah, ICE just kidnaps people.

The only question in my mind is will the GOP stand up to Trump when he orders ICE and/or the military to seize ballot boxes during the midterms. They could impeach him or use the 25th. Or they could go along and finally shed the pretense they give a shit about freedom, democracy, & the constitution.

Musk too. He belongs in prison, all assets seized, and distributed back to all the peoples of the world he’s stole from and attempted to harm.

Sometimes we skip that final step too if our GM “trusts” us to make the decision. But politically it’s usually better to get their buy-in. Leaders will sometimes be more invested in someone’s growth if they feel like they were the ones who hired them. And at least they’ll know their name/role.

Yeah we also consolidate when possible. Usually the manager interview is the most intense, and if the candidate doesn’t pass they don’t go any further to not waste their time. Then peers are for culture fit and general information share, and leadership is the final step before offer (usually brief)

I’m a hiring manager and we do an HR screening and then 3-4 interviews depending on the role (manager, 1-2 peers, and leadership). It’s a lot for candidates to go through but it’s important to involve low/mid level employees in the process so their voices are heard and they learn interview skills.

The one and only thing you can count on Republicans to be consistent about: they are utter fucking hypocrites with zero shame.
