Is that California or Canada? I was just in Yosemite, and there is no runoff, and the ground was powder dry. In Canada though, there has been significant snowfall due to a series of atmospheric rivers coming through. We will see how fast it dries out though. Let's hope for the best, but prepare.

Following up on my previous post, this is the snowpack map of the western US for the last winter. This means extreme fuel volatility across our forests. This could be the largest fire season we have ever seen.
This, as we surge into the worst US fire season we have ever experienced. Trump is literally destroying the country from the inside.
This chart shows the wildfire activity in the US over the last 10 years by month. 2026 us so far off the chart it should have it's own chart. The el Nino isn't even here yet. Wait until you see how bad this summer will get.
This is the hot water mass moving across the Pacific Ocean from the west to the east, and up to the surface. It will bring a super el Nino this summer and winter.
A little bit of not great news for the planet, unfortunately. There is now a 2 week lag in the data, but we know that the global average ocean temperature set new records on the 17th and 18th of March, and again now. Possibly the all time heat record.

It's being reported that Trump tried to launch a nuclear strike on Iran, and one of our generals refused to validate the codes to authorize the strike. If this is true, it amounts to the most severe war crimes, and requires immediate action for his removal and prosecution.

Unfortunately, that same percentage of conservatives shows up around the world, and throughout time. For instance, the election numbers in Nazi Germany were 36%. Liberals and progressives need to learn this and be prepared to counter it continuously. It will never change, so mitigation is required.
