More money for the appt and a photo. And then another 5-6 weeks without my passport. Then I’ll get a new plastic ID by mail (current PR is a sticker).

Reason for rejection? There’s a PDF you have to fill out and print. I’d signed it electronically and they required a wet signature.

Fine, resubmitted. Should get the new passport within the next 3 weeks but the nightmare will be far from over.

In Germany, two-column CVs are often the standard. Also, recruiters always see your actual document. The fear-based advice is creating unnecessary stress in an already hard job market.
