I figured I would finally watch The Coffee Table to relax; it had some good ratings and Spanish film (and horror) rarely disappoints!
Big mistake... I've never been more stressed watching something and this is like Uncut Gems meets Hereditary...

Wrapped up Metroid Prime 4. It was alright? Entertaining enough but felt like a slog somehow. Oh well.
Finished Planet of Lana II, great sequel. Very polished and doesn't overstay its welcome.
j/k the answer to that question is GTA VI Special Edition and UE6 first party exclusives
Things like DLSS 5 with AI filters will only further push indie and AA into more stylized art direction that runs on mid-spec PCs and handhelds, rather than a pursuit of graphical realism.
And when next gen consoles come around, what do we need to buy them for?
TFW you have a horror dream but after you wake up and press snooze you turn it into a horror friendslop design framework instead ๐
Not an easy job ahead for Matt Booty but he has a good sense of game dev. Best of luck to him and his new Copilot.
Just finished Keeper, what a delightful and creative game. It's nice that Xbox can let those games get made and ohhhh ok
Haha, thank you! That was a fun random trip and visit!
Close enough to wearing a Kaz-mat suit.
Went through some clean-up of old folders and came across a 2014 social plan that included Vine and Tumblr ๐
The thing about AI and writing is that if you suck at writing, ChatGPT will do it better. But if you are decent, ChatGPT will just make you lazy and less prone to improve your craft.
A skilled writer will still always outperform AI just like a skilled tailor will outperform factory work.
This was alright! They're going to make so many of these aren't they?
Seated for FNAF 2. Not sure I'm the exact right audience in this showing but let's find out how it is.
Ending 2 and 4 complete! Fun to unravel the real story, and it went a lot harder than expected. Props to Konami for giving that team enough leeway to push in that direction.
Story difficulty is way too easy though, wish there was a middle difficulty for all playthroughs.
Finished Silent Hill f on Hard/Hard. It was great, but playing on Hard during the first playthrough was a dumb mistake. Combat is doable most of the time, but more frustrating than it needed to be at other times.
Story difficulty from here on out for the other endings!
Amazing how they hollowed out this program.
I've been playing daily on Xbox to earn Rewards, but every time they raise the # of points you need to redeem or they make it less interesting altogether.
It's a shame because it incentivized you to get hooked on the GP concept and be engaged.
Good stuff!
Unsubscribed from all Atlassian email communication only to immediately get a Jira tips email.
I'm sure someone there has a Jira ticket about it in their Trello card.
Played through the first "world" of Wheel World, it's pretty good!
Cozy Burnout Paradise with bicycles.
It's on Game Pass.
Second movie did too well so they are doing a third one as the "final" movie.
And there is already a full season 1 of a spin-off prequel show.
Super impressive to see Peak hit 4.5M in such a short time, happy for the teams at Aggro Crab and Landfall!
Good to see those kind of success stories despite the ongoing Xbox discourse...
Anyway Daiwa Scarlet is the best racer.
What's stopping you?
I loved playing this as a cozy RPG, scratching that fantasy action itch with my brain off in the evening.
Happy birthday!
Xbox and SGF had some great showings for big games this year, but the smaller AA and niche games from other showcases like Future Games Show looked like they will easily compete on wishlists and Steam buzz when the time comes.
Games announced for November & December 2025: ๐ค
Games announced to compete with GTA in 2026: ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ
good luck to you and the team! ๐ช
Finished Doom: The Dark Ages and went back to play through Doom Eternal to see if I missed any story. I didn't!
They're very different games but I preferred the methodical flow of TDA over the locomotion chaos of Eternal. TDA also feels more suited to console play imo.
Outsourcing aside, they even had more than 30 people in the core studio team yet got mentioned as "under 30 people" which is just a stupid mistake to make.
