I'm looking forward to presenting tonight to colleages in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Office of Vaccines Review and Research on our ongoing work to understand how disruption of the microbiota in early life leads to impaired vaccine immunogenicity.
I'm looking forward to speaking at this exciting conference next year. If you're interested in the latest in microbiome research please check it out.

Neonates who received antibiotics had significantly lower antibody titres to multiple different vaccine antigens especially polysaccharides in the PCV13 vaccine.
Our paper out today in @nature.com shows the important role Bifidobacteria in the infant gut microbiota play in mediating optimal responses to vaccination.
