Even though it is April’s fool day, it is great to start the day with the (legit) news that our group has paper accepted for publication @rscsustainability.rsc.org today!! More details to come when the paper is online.

Update: I was able to pass the checking point at 2:20 am. Almost 8 hours standing in the line. The path got a little quicker in the end because there were a total of 4 machines working after some point. Otherwise, it would take more couple of hours.
UPDATE: At 2:20 am I was able to pass the checking point. It got a little expedite because 4 agents started to be working, instead of one. It was almost a 8 hours wait ok the line.
I am in the line for almost 7 hours now. Only two machines are working. In this path, I may need to stay for 4 or 5 more hours standing in the line. Add to that, there are all the issues to have the ticket rebooked.
Keep your phones as charged as possible. You will need it to solve all the problems related to rebooking the ticket and update family members. If you don’t have a power bank, remember that your laptop or tablet can charge your phone as well.
No expectations to get to the X-ray machine. Also, in case you notice you will not make the end of checking point before the boarding time, contact your airline asap to rebook your ticket. Otherwise, you are risking losing your time for no show. Bring water and snacks with you.
To all my colleagues that will leave #ACSSpring2026 through Atlanta airport, I recommend to arrive to the airport, at least, 4 h before the boarding time.
I have been in the check point line since 6:30 pm. Now, it is 12:40 of the next day. 6 hours standing in the line with no expectations

Hi CJ, nice to find you back here. Thanks for quoting my post.
It took me a while to create my BlueSky profile due to the proximity of my tenure and promotion process. And I decided to focus all my energy on that. Yesterday, I received the approval communication. So, I am back to showcase the work my group and I have done at Manhattan Univ. Please, follow us.
