Former 49ers defensive end, coach and scout Tommy Hart passed away, the team announced. He was 80.

Hart was a member of the 49ers’ famed front four known as The Gold Rush — along with Cedric Hardman, Cleveland Elam and Jimmy Webb. They led the NFL in sacks in 1976.
