Just upgraded both my desktop and laptop to #Fedora #Linux 42 - and lived to tell the tale! 🐧

Desktop played dead during the shutdown phase, but a power cycle brought it back to life. The laptop? Smooth as butter.

Fedora 41 has <6 months before it's retired.

Using the Chocolatey Test Environment under QEMU The latest release of the Chocolatey Test Environment as a VirtualBox Vagrant box made me wonder how I could use it in VMware Workstation. So I tried it and produced this terrible guide that you definitely shouldn't use. Unless you need to. It works. But don't do it.

How to get the best experience from Windows guests under Linux KVM After making the leap from Windows to Linux over 18 months ago, I have been using KVM for virtualization. Like most hypervisors, virtual machines under KVM need to be configured to run at their best. KVM is not different. I have written down the steps I use when creating a Windows virtual machine. Read more to find out how to get the best experience from Windows guests under Linux KVM.

Virtual machines need to be configured to get the best experience. So I wrote down the steps I use when I'm building a Windows virtual machine. And after 18 months of using Linux as my daily driver, I have added KVM specific steps!

Finally managed to get #TheDivision2 running well under Linux. Using #Fedora 41 and #Lutris. It's as smooth as butter.

My last attempt was 6 months ago under #Debian 12. It was *almost* playable. Not been in game for about a year.

This was the only Windows game I ever had issues with under #Linux.

Must. Resist.

Although, it may only be Apple compatible. In which case it's easier to resist.

I find it tough to believe that DHL is your only option.

My HA Voice pre-order from you, recently arrived via Royal Mail.

I respect your position, but mine is I don't spend my money with retailers who do this. DHL won't up their game if retailers don't care. You need to do better.

It's 2025, didn't you know? DHL can't ship anything with lithium batteries to #Scotland.

@thepihut.bsky.social knows. They have learnt a lot since 2012, but not enough to choose a courier that delivers lithium battery products to Scotland.
