Thank you to the teachers and staff at Skippack Elementary for your hard work and dedication to supporting reading and learning for all of our students.
Every student learns to read a little differently, and expanding access to phonics-based resources in both classrooms and community spaces gives them more opportunities to practice decoding and strengthen comprehension.
Yesterday I visited Skippack Elementary to see how the Structured Literacy grant supported through my office is helping young readers build strong foundations.
Repair Café Royersford is returning on April 25, offering residents the opportunity to have household items repaired by skilled local volunteers. This initiative gives new life to items that might otherwise be discarded.

Working families shouldn’t be stuck paying higher bills while legislation meant to protect them collects dust. Political games played at the expense of everyday Pennsylvanians.
Meanwhile, corporate utilities keep price gouging Pennsylvanians, while they rake in record profits (PECO’s net income jumped 47.7 percent to $814 million in 2025).
251 days. That’s how long the Ratepayer Protection Act, which I introduced with bipartisan co-sponsors, has been sitting in the Senate Consumer Protection & Professional Licensure Committee without a vote.
Reminder : My team and I are partnering with Junkluggers to host an E-Waste Recycling event on April 18. Most electronics can be recycled at no cost, but there is a $25 fee for televisions of any size and computer monitors.
Have questions or need more info, give my office a call at 610-792-2137.
That’s why I introduced my Ratepayer Protection Bill last year, to make sure Pennsylvanians aren’t left subsidizing big tech, while mega corporations cash in.
“Ready for the challenges of today” shouldn’t mean higher bills for all of us.

PECO says they need to raise your utility rates so they can be “ready for the challenges of today.”
Working people should not be subsidizing billion-dollar upgrades for big tech while struggling to keep up with rising utility costs.https://buff.ly/ENSfokZ
On Saturday, my team and I had a great time at Rep. Joe Webster’s Inclusive Post-High School Resource Fair. The event was very well attended, with families, and community members excited to explore resources and opportunities.
From Monday, March 30 through Thursday, April 2, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, the turn lane from Route 29 onto Quarry Hill Road will be closed and detoured, with drivers directed to use Atwater Drive instead.
Yesterday evening I spent time with Cub Scout Pack #134 in Coatesville. They asked about how government works, my background, and the issues they care about (hint: big feelings about cybertrucks). It's encouraging to see that curiosity and enthusiasm as such a young age.
Reminder: my office will be joining Rep. Joe Webster at his Inclusive Post-High School Resource Fair this Sat., March 28, from 1–4 PM at the Greater Philly Expo Center.
The event is open to everyone. Sign up here: buff.ly/kLl2Wht

As winter wraps up, PennDOT is asking residents to share feedback on snow removal, road conditions, and overall winter services.
The survey takes about five minutes, is completely anonymous, and helps shape how the Commonwealth prepares for future storms: buff.ly/yXfv2WD

Yesterday, I had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Kyle Harris of Temple Univ. and dozens of athletic training professionals & members of the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society in Harrisburg to advocate for their profession & recognize March as National Athletic Training Month.
