Yep. Joss, on paper, should be a whirlwind troublemaker who has a chip on her shoulders and a tense relationship with her mom, whose actions has upended Joss' life endlessly. Instead, they made her a mini Carly, and not her own character.

It's the writing and how they've setup the character. She isn't unique. She is a parrot of her mother and brother, and all her stories have been paper thin shoehorning her in where they haven't tried to build her up as a character. Or done anything that wasn't just throwing crap at the wall.
