This is the most perfect skewering of tariffs ever. 👏
How to resist
A restaurant board sign that reads: “we are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some have yachts. Some have canoes. And some are drowning. Just be kind and help when you can.
I love this.
A colorful educational infographic titled “Glimmers vs. Triggers” from the Neurodiversity Education Academy. The background is split into two halves: the left side (pink) focuses on “Glimmers,” and the right side (red) focuses on “Triggers.” In the center, there is an illustration of a person with blue hair wearing an orange sweater, appearing peaceful and content. Left Side: Glimmers (Pink Background) Brings us to an anchored state • Internal or external cues that bring us to a sense of joy or peace. Glimmers foster our thriving state of being. Empathic response • Feeling of being seen, heard, understood, and validated. The ventral vagal system promotes feelings of social connectivity. Comfort and learning zone • Evokes feelings of safety, coziness, and security within a space or with an individual. Encourages us to explore possibilities and pursue activities with excitement. Micromoments of goodness • Help release the buildup of cortisol and improve our speed of return to a state of calmness, inclusion, and safety. Right Side: Triggers (Red Background) Brings us to survival state • Gives us a cue to danger. Can make us feel antsy and withdrawn. Releases stress hormones—adrenaline and cortisol. Sympathetic or parasympathetic response • The sympathetic system triggers fight or flight, while the parasympathetic system causes inaction (freeze or fawn). Panic and danger zones • In the panic zone, we feel uneasy and spend energy managing fear and anxiety. This can lead to shutdown, collapse, and dissociation (danger zone). Associates with past traumas • Scents, sights, sounds, people, actions, or words that remind us of previous traumatic experiences. The design is vibrant and clear, with dotted connection lines linking each concept to the central illustration of the peaceful person.
Have you heard of Glimmers? They’re the opposite of triggers and the more you seek them out the more they will come to you.
What’s the last glimmer you experienced?
If you feel angry at this moment, good. It means that you have a moral compass. If you are scared at this moment, good. It means you are paying attention. If you are heartbroken at this moment, good. It means you have one.

Merry Christmas from Herndon, VA, US. #FungiFriends Turkey Tail or false turkey tail. Cute little guys on fallen tree branch.
I am a newbie at identification and am mostly an admirer of nature and its structures. I think that it is a Trametes versicolor, commonly known as Turkey Tail fungus
Now I see a penguin wearing shades. Great mushroom pics, thank you for sharing

The three "magic" Cmdlets are Get-Help, Get-Command and Get-Member. During interviewing sessions, a common question I ask if the candidate has PowerShell on their resume is "What is your favorite or go to Cmdlet and why?" My personal one is Get-Member. (Object type, properties, methods)
