U.S. State Department notice for Americans to leave 13 Middle Eastern countries
Image of current flights in the air over the Middle East
The U.S. State Department issued a notice yesterday for Americans to evacuate more than a dozen Middle Eastern countries "via commercial means due to serious safety risks."
The catch?
Air space is closed. There are no flights leaving 10 of the 13 countries.
Sorry but I love it every time that the fraud betting apps go health insurance mode and find the smallest discrepancy to justify not paying out to the inside traders who are its core customer base. Eat shit.
This War Will Destabilize The Entire Mideast Region And Set Off A Global Shockwave Of Anti-Americanism vs. No It Won’t
I can't fucking believe we're doing this again.
Marine Staff Sgt. Donald May Jr. was killed when the tank he was riding in fell into the Euphrates River.
They want this war, but they also would love for Trump to take the blame for it...
And this will soon be also the line for CNN...
If you are an elected official that opposes military strikes on Iran, the head of CBS News will clap back at you. Will be interesting to see if she does this for other objectors, or just Muslim politicians, but it does raise the question how much her views of the Middle East shape the news.
1. The New York Times, unsurprisingly, has released yet another hit piece on transgender people.
This time, it comes from Jesse Singal.
I fact check it in my latest piece.

Shameful of the GI to end its Goethe Institut in Exile project like this, apparently from one day to the next.

it's very funny, after fifty years of supply side orthodoxy, to have these guys saying "someone should really think about demand"
Shot of a tv screen: “Police statement "We have today arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office." Thames Valley Police”
Gurgling with pleasure at this wording

„Being able to see their emails makes something very clear: The “anti-woke” movement was not a genteel intellectual inquiry, made by disinterested parties who cared deeply about free speech. It is a social circle of powerful people who feel threatened by # MeToo.“

Bluesky was literally meant to be a cryptobro social network for grifters, LinkedIn sludge, and libertarians who know way too much about age of consent laws.
Jack Dorsey *left* when instead of weird and off-putting cryptonerds, trans people started hanging out here.
The word "should" is doing more work than congressional Democrats currently…
Bei vielen ist noch nicht angekommen, mit wieviel Energie die #Social-Media-Verbote und damit #Altersverifizierung für alle gerade gepusht wird.

There's a short video clip of Pinker and Epstein on the plane and a girls voice says "where are you taking me" and this is the still from it. So I don't know what he's talking about.
The concept of “lying under oath” is up for grabs right now. All the Trump SCOTUS judges did it about Roe. Kennedy did it to get his post. If one of these fuckers isn’t prosecuted it will be crystal clear that there are zero repercussions for doing so, and everyone will lie forever.
sigh
having your city noticed by the president is now a natural disaster on par with a hurricane or major flood
To me the chatbots pose zero interesting questions about the ‘nature of selfhood’ but dozens about the nature of manipulation. Here the Claude team pretends they are programming the robot for ethical responses but they land on one that is false and disingenuous.

Might as well call them the Trump files at this point
