Within a year of cutting the carbon tax, gas is higher than ever. And meanwhile I don't get my rebate cheque in the mail. And prices never went down.

Success in football is determined by how composed and unresponsive you are in the face of pressure. You don't want to appear desperate off the field.
Argh.
O'Toole is to the left of Carney.
Nice lens flare too.

More like a desert amirite.
Ange says he asked for Prem proven players to move forward after finishing fifth and instead got one prem proven player and 3 teenagers. This past transfer window we needed prem proven players and instead gone one and three teenagers. Oof. #coys
Teams who are on a losing run, win here. Managers who win trophies everywhere they go, lose here. Players who are never off injured, end up out for months here. If Tottenham is anything, it's the place where streaks go to die.
Finally Tottenham have the manager of their dreams - one that doesn't expect anything from the transfer market. #coys
I don't know what motivates these guys at this point. I do think the club shoots itself in the foot when it advertises world class facilities to players, because there's always the risk when you sell luxury and comfort in the players who buy in.
Apparently he also hates chewing gum.
On paper, it's as good as we're likely to get with the money we're willing to spend. It's all up to the players to respond. Do they see relegation as an opportunity to leave the club, or are they made up of more than that?

He's probably one of the very few willing to help get us out of the mess we're in, knowing that failure means sinking an unsinkable ship. Usque ad finem.
He seems to have a knack for joining clubs and quickly imparting a style and formation that's somewhat favourable to the players we have and has gotten teams out of the relegation basement. My biggest red flag is if in his interview all he talks about is how great our facilities are.
Something something hubris something something
If it's Heitinga then they'll announce it Friday and try to bury any criticism of it in the news cycle.

Yikes that's his second season-long injury in 2 or 3 years.
They brought in 20 players last summer and don't have European football.
And now we stand in the muck. In his club interview, Lange recently spoke of Souza's ceiling. But why didn't he start yesterday? #coys
We took players from relegated and championship level teams and expected them to be more than the sum of their parts. We hunted for deals and bought once promising players who were on a low and hoped they'd return to form. We bought players for their ceiling, ignoring their floor. #coys
He took risks. He tried different formations, different combinations, and every time he thought he had something and tried to repeat it, the players couldn't replicate their performance. The player quality isn't there with this team. #coys
Frank tried to figure it out and couldn't. I don't blame him, he was given a difficult task. The club didn't take where we placed last season as a warning and have treated this season as if things are given in the prem, not earned. #coys
There's those videos of players and coaches leaving Hotspur way in their cars. You see most players just drive past the fans looking for autographs, a few like Richy, Deki and Austin stop and sign through the window. Thomas Frank got out and talked with the fans. A class act.
Kane should retroactively win Ballon D'Ors and POYs for his performances at Spurs. That Ruben Dias won it after Kane got most goals and assists WITH SPURs is unforgivable.
Also, end of the season, we went on a ten game run and fans are celebrating, champions league medals, new video, new toilet, new newspaper, this time it says "October 31st, 2019" and Poch comes out, handshakes Ange without washing, they celebrate, Ange is the new DOF, Poch HC, Ric Flair GM #coys
He doesn't need much time to get the players adjusted, he plays always on offense so if we go down at least we go down swinging. If he saves us, that's a heck of a 3rd season. #coys
