It’s time to start engaging again. I gave myself six months to work on myself and shore up my mental state. The world is a dumpster fire.

Being single in 2025 is interesting. What happened to people?

People used to call me an alarmist when I used to talk about the fragility of democracy. Now the US is detaining tourists, deporting citizens to El Salvador and the checks and balances that everyone thought existed, just don’t. Canada will have it much worse with the Notwithstanding Clause.

I’ve been posting on tik tok a lot lately, but not political content. I feel like I’m abdicating a bit here because this election is going to lay the foundation for who we become and what we will accept in Canada moving forward. This isn’t about affordability, it’s about standing up to fascism.

I don’t think all opinions are valid. There are brilliant, educated people, refuting opinions and feelings through scientific study and history. If you’re debating fact with your feelings and opinions, your opinion probably is garbage and a little quiet self reflection and perhaps books might help.

The US is headed towards totalitarianism going even beyond authoritarianism. With how a Canadian blue party is being run (no dissension in the ranks allowed, Judeo-Christian ideology) are we setting ourselves up any differently if you vote that way?

With the election coming up in Canada I think Canadians may need to reevaluate what’s at stake. Ask yourself some really hard questions before you vote this year. Who are you? Which party aligns to your core values? Do you know the voting records of the party you’re supporting?

I left awhile ago. I needed to protect my mental health. It was so awful at the end there for me and I suspect it’s descended to depths of depravity that actively harms everyone now.
