We That Remain is an in-development solo ttrpg about being a lonely robot exploring an infinite brutalist megastructure. The Cistern Network is the most corroded Zone the player can explore. A tangle of pipes and tubing, pulsing with mechanical life.

Slip - Repainted! by HearthValley Explore a Painted World, fight monsters and cook food in this Lumen-inspired game system.

We've just finished our most recent project: a lumen-inspired game system in which the colour palette of a character determines their abilities as they fight, cook and explore their way through a colourful land known as the Painted World!

My submission to the #Appendixn game jam: Castamir’s Cloak, a strange city in an eternally dark and icy desert, filled with strange people and surrounded by ruins.
This was a lot of fun to write!

You know, I think the humanoid one’s name began with k - I think he was called Kerson????

-the other is a tripod, three legs connected to one central cylinder-like nexus. There are dangling wires from its form and it’s underside telescopes out. This one was MASSIVE, and loomed over some kind of mountainside facility

-both were kinda Biomechanical, almost like hr giger art

Just woke up from one:

-two creatures, shards from the same greater being that was split apart.

-one is humanoid both bulbous and sharp. Physically imposing. Covered in translucent black spikes and dark nodules. Many faces across its form, as well as orbs that glow black.

Finished Look to Windward a few days ago! Interesting novel, didn’t have me in the beginning but really really hooked me with the airsphere / chelgrian-puen stuff. Wish there was a bit more of both but what there is was phenomenally interesting

Using ai for solo rpgs never even occurred to me wouldn’t that literally take all the fun out of it

New ideas: disease-worshipping godsmen and bloodthirsty paladins. I really want to cultivate interesting ideas with these weird classes; I hope they deliver!

Ran Mothership yesterday - crew went to Chunky Cheese’s Eateria to intercept a mysterious package. They got it, in the end, at the cost of the (accidental) destruction of the ailing pizzeria

Just finished Use of Weapons by Ian M Banks. Didn’t really understand what he book was about until literally the last page, then it all clicked. I feel, naturally, betrayed in the most affectionate of terms

In Pioneers, my soft sci-fi rpg, Culture determines the alien species of a player character. This gives the character some stat increases, as well as some unique abilities. There are currently four in the Pioneers playtest, though I have ideas for more (that are much freakier)

Really enjoying the Final Architecture series by Adrian Tchaikovsky! I’m particularly fond of the setting / aliens, they seem ripe for RPG material

This looks sick, I’d definitely play as a skeleton collector

I like making some characters! I’ve usually given the setting/tone some thought at that point

Do these monsters have any kind of lore / symbolism or are they designed to only be scary creatures made to be scary? I think both design philosophies are very good ngl

Maps for my mothership game! really tried to lean into an older sci-fi feel, i wanted them to be kinda reminiscent of the motion trackers in aliens. Pretty happy with how they turned out, for how simplistic they are!
