I use the Severance theme song as my alarm now.

Currently going down a massive @obsidian.md rabbit hole. Diving deep into workflows, systems, ideas and note-taking strategies since the beginning of this year. Got back into #JavaScript. Leaving Notion for the most part.
A drawing in ink and color of a group of people with coffee mugs on chairs
Today at Kofi in #Minden #sketchbook we almost witnessed an american muscle car nearly hitting that group of people. #art
Did you notice that your Instagram feed no longer shows art from the people you follow causing your interests to shift? It feels like manipulation #thoughts

The ducks are awesome
i'd rather see an amateuristic sketch that tells me something about the human that made it than a fully polished, full color, hyper detailed AI generated image. and i'm sad that more and more artists opt for the latter.
between that and the algorithm, it's so much harder to discover new artists and see them grow over time, to really feel that connection with their work. even though more art is being posted than ever, i feel less interested in it than ever. it's harder to trust what i see.
i used to love watching artists grow and develop their own voices and styles. it was one of my favorite things to see on social media - that growth and evolution. with AI becoming more and more prevalent i feel like so much art is starting to look the same.
