Iâm very, very sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you and Ellenâs other loved ones.
I'm very sorry to tell you that Dr. Ellen LeMosy passed away after a short illness this past Thursday.
This is her sister. Ellen will be sorely missed.
Thereâs an even probability split between a) Trump knows the name but doesnât want to disclose it, b) Trump forgot the name and/or who he was talking to, and c) the unnamed neurotic Ozempic user was just a figment of Trumpâs decaying mind.
They grabbed one of mine as well, but my understanding is that I canât sue (it wasnât published within the lawsuitâs jurisdiction) so Iâm cheering yâall on from the sidelines on this
Oh no! This feels like when youâre invited to a birthday and donât have a present to bring

Thank you â I didnât mean to be as antagonistic as it maybe sounds. But I do think this argument needs to go away
Haha â I donât think itâll get there but Iâll try to come up with something just in case đ
Flying home from a tech conference where Every. Single. presentation either focused on AI or squeezed it in. Yet every hands-on demo I participated in fell far short of this modern miracle we're being told we live with now.
After itâs crossed 2,000 shares I also have to tell you that I recently wrote an op-ed on the topic, even though itâs only in German. The title translates to âThe way science handles AI is irresponsible.â Find it here:

The tech industry cannot keep provoking people by saying "we will take your jobs and replace them with sexually-available fembots for bosses" and not expect that to both define AI, and light the flames of a furious opposition.
Nuance will not cut through this kind of marketing.
I love Eleanor Morton! And yes, absolutely. Someone compared it to how companies treated radium back in the day: Sure itâs great and it makes watch faces glow and stuff. But why put it into toothpaste? Because it sounded cool and companies wanted to be present in the aToMiC eRa
This is the question I constantly ask of pro-AI people, like I know someone who constantly talks about how integrated it is into his work now, and I ask them, "what are you going to do when the tools are no longer available because Anthropic goes bankrupt?"
If he hits upon a truth about your mother, that's neither impressive nor intentional. It's a side effect of his thought process. The exact same thing is true for AI chatbots.
So, yeah. If you believe what the drunk dude says about your Mom, then be my guest and use chatbots as a search engine. 3/3
You shouldn't trust chatbots as much or as little as Google. You should trust them as much or as little as the drunk dude on the street who yells things about your mother. Like a chatbot, his intent is not to provide you with accuracy, but to keep the conversation going based on available info. 2/
That ubiquitous argument ("just like with a search engine / like Wikipedia") is based on a fundamental misunderstanding: For all their flaws, search engines / Wikipedia were designed to provide (preferably accurate) information. That is fundamentally not what a bot was designed to do, or does. 1/
I mean, we all know that, but thereâs no reason to be mean about it.
I remember when he learned live on air what the nuclear triad is during one of the presidential debates, that was fun for everyone. The joys of electing the countryâs biggest dipshit to highest office.
US President in movies: The sharpest mind out of millions, with vast knowledge and experience
US President in real life: âwhats a corner store lol wthâ
Iâm afraid I just heard that name for the first time. But I donât trust anyone who lets themselves be appointed by Trump
Badly aged things
Breaking News President Trump tapped Dr. Erica Schwartz, a vaccine supporter, as C.D.C director, a shift in messaging before the midterms.
In Trumpâs America itâs a newsworthy political move if the future CDC director accepts settled health science.
Itâs not just you
Maybe he wants to make it particularly manly because he misunderstand how the âballâ part factors into the word

Some of the arguments in the comments can be resolved by deciding on what âhere to stayâ means.
Were horse carriages here to stay? Yes and no. Their immediate successor dominates the world in many respects. But in order to do that it had to change in many fundamental aspects.
Feel free to discuss.
My boss just told me that her boss whoâs been pushing the AI nonsense at our company just got told by the IT big boss that everything weâre doing is dumb and a waste of time and money
Today is a good day
