I can't even remember the last time I wrote anything other than an email. I'm saddened by this in ways I can't even explain.

I wrote one book listening to the same album on repeat. Not sure why it inspired me to write what I wrote, but it did, and I cannot tell you how many times I flipped that record.

My kid is about to start college to study political science, and is fully aware of how ridiculous that is at the moment. They might as well call it a history degree at this point.

I am a voyeur author... the way I would have to ask what she was laughing at every time she giggled would be both annoying and compulsive.

That's not the worst idea. I should look back on my shelves and find something I already know I love, or look for some novellas that grab my attention.
