It also lessens the impact of the genocide route since the intentional boringness of that is meant to make you feel disassociated from the world but on a first playthrough I’m far more bored and disassociated from the pacifist route (until post flowey of course)
People act like the pacifist playthrough is a core part of undertale but it really isn’t if there were unique moments you got by being a pacifist outside of sans the game would be better for it since you wouldn’t just be seeing the exact same things
Undertale opinion: having to replay the game for the pacifist route is not good game design
