One year!! Obviously I didnt hit every single day but I more or less stuck to my plan for an entire 365 days. That's really hard for me and I'm really proud of how far I've come! Roughly 1.5 hours a day for a whole year!

In particular this is super useful because at the beginning it was like pulling teeth getting me to start watching something because it would be a significant mental commitment, but now I can just pick a YouTube video closeish enough to my skill level and just chill and watch it. It's great

Something I'm noticing about Japanese Immersion now is that my slowly improved ability to tolerate ambiguity combined with my studying over the last year has led to a significant mental easing of watching JP videos now. It's just easy enough now that I can do it with slightly less mental effort
