I felt inspired by the new Mario movie, so I drew Space Furries-- I mean... Star Fox. I always preferred the original designs and the puppets from the SNES era, when they looked a lot more animal-like.

I love this franchise so much and want to believe so badly that it's not dead.

(Disclaimer: I bought the Switch 2 used, and I plan to buy everything pertaining to it pre-owned. I'd rather not give Nintendo money toward the most anti-consumer console in existence, but there are fun looking games on there, so this is my compromise.)

Whoever remembers me posting the funny picnic table bug during my first playthrough of Pokémon Scarlet... I recreated it on the Switch 2. New console, same game, same jank, still funny.

Stranger Things is cool and all, but the one and only thing that has me all excited from the Chapter 2 DLC for DbD is getting to watch the latest trailer purely to see my boy get brutally turned into a pretzel in high definition.

(5/5) I understand it's hard to avoid everything running on smartphones now, so if you MUST give your kid one please consider a Gabb or Bark phone that has GPS, NO social media, lets you remotely control access to apps, features, and contacts, set time limits, and alerts you to anything suspicious.

(4/5) In a sleepy little village like ours, it's all too easy to believe something like this would never happen. But it can. And it does. Internet predators are a danger as old as the internet itself. The only thing that's changed is having access to the entire world from your pocket at all times.

(3/5) The girls were reported missing after not making it home, one phone was found left behind and the other was shut off, the text/call history was pulled from the carrier and this guy's number was identified and tracked down. It goes to show just how important those first 24 hours are.

(2/5) This guy was someone one of the girls was talking with online. He traveled halfway across the country, stayed at a local motel overnight, met the girls at a school sporting event, and took them over 500 miles further across the country before getting arrested the following morning.

(1/5) I am BEGGING parents of teens and tweens to take internet safety seriously, give them "the talk" on predators, and monitor their screen usage and who they hang out with.

This past weekend we had two 12yo girls get kidnapped by a predator and they're lucky to still be alive let alone unharmed.
