New ink today and I had dinner with my sister. Yesterday I helped a friend build a patio and celebrated another friend's one year anniversary of finishing cancer treatment.

i was put in contact with one of the artists at the shop i want to go to. i guess he books appointments online so that's cool.

the bonus is that he his bio linked his death metal band. i don't know if it's anything but vibes but i could tell it was an erie band in the first 5 seconds of the song.

i am frustrated because the only shop in relative proximity to me that does us traditional tattoos is 40 minutes away and only sets appointments in person. gas is expensive af right now

i think i'm done with instacart. the person marked all my items found then the order arrives with most of it missing and items in it wrong. then they didn't respond when i messaged.

i try to be generous with people working gig jobs but damn

i am basically a desiccated husk at this point but that new converge album hits hard. it had me speeding like a teenager. i thought i was permanently in the "accidentally driving 5mph below the limit" crew for the rest of my days. haha

you could say i've become a fanboy. i'm still experimenting with sounds and feel on the electric. i haven't even touched pedals and amps. it's a lot of fun learning about this stuff.

dr said the bloodwork indicates diabetes. it has been maybe 2 years since i got bloodwork but there hasn't been any indication other than being relatively fatigued lately. if i am in fact diabetic, this is going to be bad. i don't think i have the discipline in me to keep the diet i'll need to
